I removed a curtain that had hidden my Luci from view for years. Pressed start for at least a minute, she flickered and is back to life. Amazing ti have her warm glow again.

Love to use these when camping in the SCA and at the great Pennsic war. Wish they were a bit smaller for some of my lanterns. Have them paired up with the string lights.

We picked up one of these Luci camp lights YEARS ago somewhere (Maybe at EMS?) and only used it once every year or two for camping. However, we recently lost power here at our house for 2 days due to a wind storm, and we were scrambling through the house that night looking for any batteries and flashlights. I dug our dirty old Luci light out of a clear plastic bin shoved under an air hockey table where it had been stored for probably a year or more. I figured it needed to be charged up, but to my surprise it lit up right away. We hung it from our our living room ceiling and it lit the room much better than any candles or flashlights we had. I kept expecting it to run out of juice at any moment but to our amazement it lasted over 6 hours before we finally shut it off to go to bed. My wife and I were so impressed we decided we should buy a few more, so I just came here and ordered four. I hope the 2.0 version is as good as the Luci original!

I used to use Colman lanterns while camping and these lights have simplified my set up.

I no longer have to worry about heat damaging anything, fuel, mantle replacement or lighting it. I own several and take them on every trip for light over my table or illuminating path ways. They are even light enough for backpacking. All around a great product.

I have several sets of lights and my most recent purchase adds to my collection. I am a camp host during summer months and campers have commented how friendly and magic my lighting around camp is… the kids love my twinkling lights and no one trips over any of the stakes I have in the ground to secure my awnings for trailer or tarping for my outdoor kitchen and over my picnic table. Love em and don’t have to worry about powering them given they are solar!

I bought these a few months ago and finally got to use them this past week camping. I used them on their brightest setting each night and they charged back in the sun the next day. Really nice amount of light! Couldn't be happier!

These things are so unique, so versatile, and so dang cool! I can't resist gear that is entirely innovative and I'm so glad I pulled the trigger. Guy lines and tent stakes have been the bane of my existence for years! I had to get stitches on my foot one time after stepping on a particularly sharp tent stake. I'm a clumsy gal so having something like these lights to illuminate the tent stakes at night has been an absolute game changer! The light nodes are also insanely light and last way longer than I thought they would.

On a recent backpacking trip, I swapped out my normal ultralight tent stakes for these ones and my headlamp for two of the light nodes. They lasted my whole trip and provided enough light to illuminate my tent to read my book when I tucked in for the night.

I'm so pleased with this product and I'm looking forward to finding new uses for them. I'm planning on using them to put in my jack o' lantern for halloween, votives for holiday decorating, and attaching them to my dog collar for nighttime walks. Excellent work MPOWERD!

I bought this one (with shimmer) for my granddaughter (3 yo) and the non-shimmer one for my grandson (5yo) for our Disney Cruise. They loved them! Great for long trip in the car, a BIG hit during bath time (they float and make the bathroom light up with magical jewel tones--especially with overhead lights off) and for their rooms on return from our trip. They recharge in the sunlight. Everyone (me, daughter inlaw, son, granddaughter, grandson included) like the shimmer one the best. I also bought a regular one (with outlet recharge capabilities) for son and DIL and they like it, too. Great gift. Picture shows kids when they opened them at the TABLE (while and red).

The Good: Love the string lights and 3 levels of brightness. The integrated clipping points on the line are brilliantly useful and good tiny size. Overall length is good.
The Meh: the flashlight that comes on first tends to blind you and not be what you were looking for. The form factor makes it hard to find the on button on the round surface and identify it from other button.
The Bad: The lights are a tight fit into their storage area, the closure mechanism on the storage area is tough to do and WILL be a failure point - just a matter of time and dirt. When stored you can't see if the lights are on = can be draining battery without knowing it.
Suggested fix that would take them from good to great:
They should eliminate the extra flash light and just make the storage cover out of flexy transparent silicone that bends to cover or reveal and the frustrating things on this light would be all solved in one go. You would be able to use as a lantern through the transparent cover, be able to see if accidentally on, and the wind/unwind cover would be super user friendly and not a mechanical gizmo that can break.
All that said, the lights are quite pleasant and useful. We usually find that low is bright enough and they last quite a while.

Compact and solar powered these lights add a touch of panache and ambiance to any campsite. 3 levels of brightness make them useful for general lighting as well.
